Mary Frances Owens, age 92 of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Mrs. Owens is survived by her daughters, Gail Thomas and Deborah (Ronald) Owen; sister, Ethel Ferguson; grandchildren, George Shavers, Jr., Robin (Jim) Sampley, Wendy (Trae) Durham, Scott (Jamie) Henegar and Lee (Allie) Henegar; sixteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; special friend, Doris Clark; special niece, Kathy Peacock; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, and family members of Stevenson Holiness Church.
Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Dick Pace and Ella Pace; children, Mary Elizabeth Owens, Sheila Kay Owens, Richard Douglas Owens and Brenda Carol (George) Shavers; siblings, Milton Pace, Dewey Pace, Wayne Pace, Newell Pace, James Pace, Austin Pace, Jr., Lizzie Pace, Ruthie Anthony, Ruby Evans and Pearl Pace.
