Edith Ricketts Hambrick, age 87 of Scottsboro, passed away on September 17, 2023. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, September 23, 223 from the First United Methodist Church. Interment followed in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hambrick is survived by her daughters, Jan Hambrick (Bill) Hodgson, Lisa Hambrick Barfoot and Joy Hambrick Burgess; grandchildren, Blair Hodgson (Henry Clay) duQuesnay, William Carter Hodgson, Jr. and Emily Adair Burgess; great grandchildren, Robert Clay duQuesnay and Anne Louise duQuesnay; and sister, Virginia Ann Dollar.
Mrs. Hambrick was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Blair Hambrick; sons in law, James Houston Barfoot and Timothy Carstarphen Burgess; and parents, James Bart Ricketts and Martha Lorene Smith Ricketts.
