LaShanda Jeanette Lewis, age 52 of Grant, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from the Grant Memorial Chapel. Interment followed in the New Prospect Cemetery.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband, Robbie Lewis; daughters, Shalanda (Bradley) Durbin and Ryanna (Benjamin) Leslie; adopted children, Austin Saint, Rob (Kayla) Soverns and Dakota (Wesley) Lewis; grandchildren, Stella Durbin, Conner Leslie, Kalie Norris, William Soverns and Wyatt Soverns; brothers, Scott (Samantha Thomas) Murphy and Thomas (Tara) Traylor; sisters, Faith (Ronnie) Borden and Jessica (Jerry) Morphis; nieces and nephews, Kailey, Wiley, Bryar, River, Kaden, Dalton, Donnie and Hunter; as well as many cousins and friends.
Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her parents, Juanez Murphy, Charles Murphy and J.T. Traylor; two sisters; and one brother.
