Mary Tenille Black, age 44 of Scottsboro, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023. A Memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home. Dr. Matt Helms officiated.
Mrs. Black is survived by her husband, Waylon Black, Jr.; son, T.J. Connely; mother, Viola Salter; sisters, Shelly Salter, Mary (Jerry) Clark, Renee (Doug Thomas) Hall and Sherry Ann (Bruce) Raushenberger; brothers, Wayne (Sharon) Salter, Bobby (Steffine) Salter, Edward (Rebecca) Roach; sister in law, Keisha Sealey and Sasha Black; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her father, Pastor Edward Broughton.
