Mrs. Elva Guinn Blackwell, 100 of Fyffe, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023 at her residence. Funeral services were held on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Hampton, Bro. Mike Martin and Bro. Chris Guinn officiating. Burial followed in Greens Chapel Cemetery.
Elva loved the Lord and belonged to Free Hill Baptist Church, and also attended Davistown Baptist Church. She was an accomplished quilter who was quilting even at 100. She passed down her love of quilting to her granddaughters.

Her family would like to thank Aveanna Hospice, namely Jessica Davis, for their loving care and support. Thank you to friends, neighbors, Kathy Bell and Peggy Croft for being by our side as we walked her home. Thanks to everyone who fixed food and for all your prayers. A special thank you to Rainsville Funeral Home.

She is survived by her son, Glenn Tidwell; daughter, Jeannette Dobson; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lucy Guinn; brothers, John Guinn, Sam Guinn, Jack Guinn, Leonard Guinn; sister, Nellie Tidwell, Rhoda Tiffin, Eula Womack, Tilda Lewis, Virginia Kirkpatrick; husbands, Leon Williams, Robert Blackwell.
