Mrs. Fannie Lee Short, 79 of Scottsboro, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at her home. Graveside services were held on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Joe Moore officiating.

She is survived by her daughter, Conni (Webb) Hall; grandchildren, Matthew (Grace) Gray, Winn Hall, Claire Hall; very special sister and caretaker, Margaret Deerman; many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Gray; parents, William and Bertha Russell; sisters, Alice Russell. Augusta Wynn, Nell Helton, Shirley Smart, Helen Stubblefield; brothers, William (Bet) Russell, George Russell.

The family would like to thank her caregivers: her neighbor, Joanie Rhodes, Heartlite Hospice, Ariana Jenkins and Amy Smith.
