Millie Sue Cooper Smith, 95, born on Friday, March 9 1928, passed away at her home on Monday, March 20, 2023. Funeral services were held at Hopewell Baptist Church on Saturday, March 25, 2023 with Bro. Brian Guess and Jimbo Campbell officiating. Interment followed at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church where she served as secretary for many years.

She is survived by her children, Ron (Debbie) Smith, Judy (Jimmy) Campbell, Wendell (Cathy) Smith, Terry (Sammy) Burrows; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Smith; parents, John and Julina Cooper; brothers, Jack, Sam, Lindsay, Doc Cooper and Jim White; sisters, Kate Colvin, Myrtle Cooper, Ollie Higdon, Dorothy Thomas, Emline Cooper.
