Ms. Paulette Gann White, 69 of Section, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 after a prolonged illness. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with interment following in Section United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Paulette was born on Friday, December 25, 1953 to Thomas Gann and Mary Thomas in Hammond, Indiana. She graduated from Lake Central High and attended college at Indiana State University. Paulette loved her family and her doges. She loved to read, especially science fiction, paint, entertain friends and write poetry. She filled the lives of those she touched with magic and creativity and loved everyone she met. In one poem, Paulette wisely wrote, “…Love is the only true dwelling place.”

She is survived by her sister, Nancy Bonitz; nieces, Alyson Owens, Jessica (Price) Lawrence, Hope Bonitz, Faith Bonitz; nephews, Joseph Owens, Jeffrey Owens.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Owens.
