Faye Virginia Joyce Guffey, 82 of Swearengin, born on Wednesday, March 20, 1940, fought the good fight, kept the faith and finished her course on Sunday, March 12, 2023 surrounded by her family. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Oak Grove Holiness Church with Bro. Nicky Willmon and Bro. Alton Willmon officiating. Burial followed in Gunter Mountain Memory Gardens.

Faye was born in Marshall County to Tolbert and Beatrice Cameron. She married Roy Guffey in 1959 and spent her life as a loving wife, mother and Nannie. Faye was a cherished and longtime member of Oak Grove Holiness Church.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years; daughter, Joan (Bill, Jr.) Stapler; son, Steve (Kelli) Guffey; grandchildren, Coty and Megan Stapler, Ryan and Brenda Guffey, Amber Guffey, Anna Stapler; great-grandchildren, Emma, Joel, Laken Guffey; brother, Billy (Sheilah) Cameron; sisters, Barbara (Buddy) Raisler, Vivian Johnson, Helen Scott, Retha Holcomb; sisters-in-law, Devon Cameron, Jane (Eskill) Dotson, Carolyn Brown; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tolbert and Whack Cameron; brothers, Rossie and Bobby Cameron.
