Mrs. Nelda “Aunt Sister” Martin, 89 of Scottsboro, born on Wednesday, November 8, 1933 to the late Theo Williams and Helen Large, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at her home. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Don Jacobs officiating.

She is survived by her sister, Peggie (Rev. Donald) Jacobs; niece, Donna (Bennie) Lenz; nephew, Don (Jodie) Jacobs; a host of great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Martin; mother; father; son, Steven Martin; brothers, Dennis and Alton Williams.
