Mr. Eugene “Gene” Talley, 76 of Scottsboro, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at his home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Gene is survived by his wife, Laura Talley; children, Sandy Hastings, Steven Talley, Jason Talley, Genia Phillips, Kelly Young, Chad Talley, Dustin Talley, Colby Pasquarella, and Laurie O’Conner; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and brothers, Bill Talley, Bo Talley, and Gary Talley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pirley Talley; mother, Stella Talley; brother, Pleasy Talley; and sister, Faye Johnson.
