Mr. Marvin Phillips, 73 of Parrish, Florida and formerly of Hollywood, born on Friday, February 18, 1949 to James and Ruby Phillips, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at New Hope Global Methodist Church, 3459 Ala. Highway 79 South in Scottsboro. All family and friends are invited.
After graduating from Scottsboro High in 1967, Marvin honorably served in the United States Navy for four years.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Phillips; son, Chad Phillips; daughters, Lee Ann and Marsha Phillips; four grandchildren; brother, James (Ginger) Phillips; a nephew and a niece. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Robert and Lina Phillips, William Riley and Sally Headrick.
