Walter Thomas Grider, Jr., 86 of Scottsboro, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Kerry) Lovvorn; grandson, Josh Lovvorn; granddaughter, Tiffany (Ethan) Rash; great-grandchildren, Harper Rash, Macie Rash; one niece; two nephews; a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Oglear Grider; parents, Walter, Sr. and Lillian Grider; sister, Earline Grider.
