Virginia Eldridge passed away on February 6, 2023 at the age of 96. A graveside service will be held Monday, February 13 at 10 a.m. at Humpton Cemetery in Woodville, Ala.

Mrs. Eldridge is survived by her two sons, Gary (Sandra) Eldridge of Flint Hill, MO and Mark (Glenda) Eldridge of Moscow Mills, MO; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; in addition to her immediate family she had two brothers and five sisters.

She was preceded in death by her; father, Pleas Anderson, mother, Biddie Anderson (nee McDonald), husband, Billy Gene Eldridge, son, Roger Eldridge.

Virginia was a member of the Baptist faith and attended Grant Baptist Church in Grant, Ala. for many years. She was an animal lover including domestic pets as well as the deer she would feed each afternoon. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and traveling, where she went on many bus tours throughout the U.S. and a special trip to Jerusalem. Virginia was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many who will be dearly missed.
