Mrs. Belva Edna Lee Grimstad, 82 of Utah and formerly of Scottsboro, born in Scottsboro on Saturday, February 3, 1940, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 with Bro. William Bennett officiating. Burial followed in New Canaan Cemetery.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her sons, Wesley (Marie) Grimstad, Robert (Jane) Grimstad, Jr; daughter, Erica (Doug) James; sisters, Pearl Hayes, Ollie Mayes; grandchildren, Bradley, Stephanie, Joseph, Anna, Ben, Chloe; two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Grimstad, Sr.; parents, Samuel and Jessie Eakins, Sr.; five sisters, and among them, Nellie Lands, Charicie Bradford, Lois Eakins, Joyce Pace; five brothers, and among them, Samuel Eakins, Jr., Ray Eakins.
