Mrs. Joan Wise Jennings, 74 of Scottsboro, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Pastor Gregory Gilliam officiating.

Joan was a native of Jackson County, growing up in the Martintown community. She was retired from Maples where she was a machine operator for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Jennings; daughters, Carla Bradford, Vickie (Troy) Swafford; stepsons, Heath (Angela) Jennings, Leath (Janna) Jennings; grandchildren, Blake Bradford, Brooke Moore, Bailey Bradford, Cody Barrett, Zachary Jennings, Jacey Jennings, Cayden Jennings, Emma Jennings, Isabella Jennings; great-grandchildren, Jalen Bradford, Thomas Bradford, Jaxon Hughes; brothers, Carlos Wise, Joe Wise; sister, Betty (Bill) Cribbs; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Estel and Dollie Wise; brother, Kenneth Wise.
