MONTGOMERY – Governor Kay Ivey and the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) on Thursday issued a statewide health order to aid in Alabama’s efforts to contain the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Highlands Medical Center is implementing visitation restrictions for hospital patients, effective immediately.
Ninety-five percent or about 143 million households in the country will receive an initial invitation to respond to the 2020 Census in their mailboxes between March 12 and 20.
The Alabama Waterfowl Association (AWA) has been sponsoring the Surplus Conservation Seed program since the mid-1990s. This is a program that offers seeds for planting wildlife food plots and cover crops for erosion at a fraction of the cost of retail seeds.
While no cases of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 have been identified in Alabama at this time, state and local health care organizations are preparing for the spread of the virus.
