Alabama Arbor Day 2025 was commemorated on February 22nd with a tree seedling giveaway and memorial tree planting earlier in the week co-sponsored by the Scottsboro Tree Commission, the Alabama Urban Forestry Association and the National Arbor Day Foundation.
98-year-old Jack Livingston was recently recognized by the Alabama State Bar Association as the longest practicing member of law in Alabama. Livingston was admitted to the Alabama State Bar on February 27, 1950.
