The Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County (VMPJC) recently welcomed students from Woodville and Skyline schools for an immersive tour. Led by dedicated veteran tour guides Gayla Mendez and Raymond Brandon, the students embarked on a journey through the Park − a journey that teaches them about the true cost of freedom.
In celebration of Alabama’s “Don’t Drop it on Alabama”, Spring Clean-up month, City of Scottsboro officials and Caldwell’s Leadership Legends have partnered with PALS (People Against a Littered State) and are hosting a community clean up day. The community clean up day will be held on Saturday, April 27.
