Pearline Ashburn, age 85 of Skyline, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Gold Cemetery. Bro. William Ikard and Bro. Mickey Skipper officiated.  
Mrs. Ashburn is survived by her son, Mike (Debbie) Ashburn; granddaughter, Courtney Hales; and great grandson, Avery Hales; brother and sister- in-law, Clifton and Eunice Sharp.
Mrs. Ashburn was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ashburn; parents, Leonard and Myrtle Guinn Sharp; brother, James O. Sharp; nephew, Chris Sharp; and daughter-in-law, Diane Ashburn.
Mrs. Ashburn was a devoted Christian, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. Pearline attended the Skyline Church of God from its humble beginnings until sickness took this joy from her life. She was a graduate of Woodville High School and Alabama School of Cosmetology. Pearline was  a hairdresser for many years and for the last 25 years prior to her retirement owned a shop at Skyline, Pearline’s Beauty Shop.
Pearline loved to quilt, crochet, embroider and make gifts from the talents of those hobbies. No baby within her realm of influence has gone without one of her famous blankets.
Pearline will be greatly missed by her family, friends, church and the whole Skyline community.
