I want you to stop and think about something today.

It’s so easy to be a good person. Just practice this one phrase, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” So easy.
There are so many good people in this world. I believe I could quickly count one hundred people who would come to my rescue if I called them and I know more than that that I would go to if they called.
Being a Christian means we must love our brothers and sisters and we must help each other no matter how inconvenient. Every time we help someone else we gain more than the time we lost doing it. It is such a blessing to be able to bring a little sunshine to someone’s life.
Being depressed, as I have been for months at a time, but depression is all about thinking of ourselves. We must keep busy and when we get depressed go out and do something for someone else, send a card, call somebody that is shut in. Visit the nursing homes. Start a hobby.
God didn’t mean for us to hurt. He gives us a way to avoid it by doing His work. Think of something you can do for Him the next time you are feeling sorry for yourself. Let someone know you are thinking of them and that you love them. We never get too old to stop thinking of others. In fact, I believe
He takes care of us so we can continue to help someone else. We don’t
ever want to get so caught up in ourselves that we have no time to think of others.
If you know of a shut-in that would like to get a card email me or if you have a story to share email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
