Here’s a recipe that  you can make either as one big cheese ball or if you have loads of time, you can turn them into a slew of baby bat cheese balls.

  I know the kids would love to create these itty bitty bats so put them in the kitchen with you and have a howling good time!

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup salsa
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Black bean or blue corn chips,  finely crushed
diced pimentos or craft eyeballs

Mix together first four ingredients.  Refrigerate until firm.  Roll into 1-inch balls, then roll in the finely crushed chips.  Decorate with pimento for eyes or use the eyeballs found in the craft department of most stores.
