The Jackson County Circuit Clerk has announced that an updated list of unclaimed funds is now available. 

The named owner for the unclaimed funds cannot be located by the clerk’s office. Unclaimed funds total more than $100,000. The list can be viewed at www.38jc.alacourt.gov.
Individuals or companies whose name is shown on the unclaimed funds list may contact the clerk’s office at 256-574-9320 to claim the money.  You will need to be prepared to establish that you are the true intended recipient of the funds by describing court cases in which you were a party, or describing incidents in which you were a victim with restitution ordered by the Court.
Funds that are not claimed will be paid into the Jackson County General Fund after a period of five years, upon authorization of the Presiding Circuit Judge of Jackson County, pursuant to the Code of Alabama, Section 19-3-87.
