Mark Marshall announced his intention to run for the Scottsboro City Council, Place 4.


Marshall, who was born and raised in Scottsboro, is the proprietor of The Clay Pot.
He is also a graduate of Scottsboro High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Horticulture from Auburn University.
Mark is married to his wife, Leslie Marshall, and is the father of Clay Marshall.
Marshall said, “I am running for city council to work to fulfill a vision I have to improve the lives of our city’s residents. I want to make Scottsboro a place for opportunity and improve our community’s standard of living.”
